Personality:
Very shy, trusting, loyal, and a bit of a germaphobe. She can be overly cautious, which sometimes leads to opportunities passing her by. Adults terrify her, and children her own age intimidate her, but she gets on really well with children, who tend to adore her because of her sweet disposition and playful nature. Jocelin spends a lot of time when she's at home either babysitting her younger cousins, or at her part-time job at the apothecary.

A shy middle child, Jocelin often finds herself overshadowed by her rebellious older brother and outgoing younger sister. Her mother, Jacqueline, got addicted to pain potions after her difficult third pregnancy and as a result, home life is not the most stable as her father has been forced to look for a job to support the family as well as his wife's treatment for her condition. Jocelin and her older brother, Dax, both have part-time jobs in order to cover their school expenses, clothes, and in Dax's case, rent.
While not popular at school, Jocelin isn't exactly unpopular, either -- she's more of a wallflower. An average student, except in Potions, which is her favorite subject, she aspires to one day open a bed and breakfast in wizarding Paris. Secretly, she wishes to join the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers, but she lacks confidence in her skills, fearing she'll never be good enough to be a Potions Master.
