Personality: After just a few moments with Hal Boothman at the office and one will see that he is a proud, hard-working, and slightly skeptical wizard. On the streets one will find him to be warily amicable, courteous, and in good humor. He likes to have fun despite his generally straight-laced appearance. Taking advantage of anyone under any circumstance is not usually in his nature. Some might claim that Hal is outspoken: he will not hesitate to speak up for someone or say precisely what is on his mind, when it comes to mind.

Injustice is one way to force Hal into an indignant shouting match with someone and his temper is not something to be trifled with. Luckily, it is usually enemies that receive such anger. On the occasion when a friend or loved one is on the wrong end of his wrath, they will find that he can be nastily sarcastic when in this state. A black-and-white sense of thought is often adopted by the wizard when on a wanted witch- or wizard-hunt. Hal is also reckless when driven to the edge be it from anger or worry over a family member.

It goes without saying that Hal’s friends and loved ones are perhaps his greatest weakness. Towards these individuals he is amicable, loyal, and protective. He loves children and their innocence – a time he often wishes he could go back to. Hal’s own father wasn’t as involved in his life as Hal would have liked, and as such he tries to be a devoted father and husband when all the work that’s waiting for him doesn’t plague his mind. His workaholic ways were a source of frustration with Laura Sinclair, and continue to be so with Emily Reynolds. What neither Laura nor Emily realized is that his workaholic streaks were never meant to avoid or annoy them, but rather a way to ease the pain of loss and regret felt across his years.

Personality: Cainan is a hyper though laid back young man, is eager to please those around him. He takes life as it comes and tries not to worry about things. He takes the serious parts of his job seriously. Though can be a bit niave at times, some times does things he knows he isn't the smartest thing to do but is the right thing regardless.
