Ravenclaw Quidditch Talk and other such things that preoccupies the mind of a couple of teenagers.

"Me neither," Lainey admitted, shrugging. "But it would only be logical to cultivate as many options as possible," she reasoned. "I do really like COMC...maybe I could do something like that, even. Dragons! That'd be cool," she joked, laughing.

"Of course but being indecisive and trying everything out just makes you 'a jack of all trades and a master of none.'" Cole quoted but she really couldn't remember where from. "I don't know, I suppose, anything that's at least more than half as exciting as doing paper work would be good enough for me."

"I can't believe its your last year Lainey."

It was a fair point, but once Lainey had finally decided on a career, she was sure that old saying wouldn't apply anymore.

"I can't believe it either!" she sighed, looking wistful. "I'm gonna miss it so much. It'll be weird not going back next year. But you'll hold down the fort for me while I'm gone, right?"

"Of course, but lets not think about next year and just think about this." Cole said sitting up. "Since it is in fact your last year, I think we should make a vow to attempt and get everything you've ever wanted at Hogwarts. The Quidditch Cup is our for certain with you as captain, the House Cup - well that might need a bit of work but not completely impossible, but is there anything else you'd like for this year?"

Lainey gulped as she looked away from Cole; the unexpected question had brought something immediately to mind that she hadn't really worried about for awhile. Too busy with school and quidditch, Lainey had never had a real relationship, but that would be embarrassing to admit.

"I'm not...sure, really," she said evasively, reluctantly meeting Cole's eyes.

"Oh come on, there must be something." Cole pushed with a certain gleam in her eye that appeared when ever and idea greatly appealed to her. "Alright, I'll tell you one of my ones. I've always wanted to go up to the Astronomy Tower during the day mind you, and toss a few water balloons willy-nilly during a Care of Magical Creatures class." She giggled at the thought.

"Okay, now, tell me yours."

Lainey looked relieved at the silliness of Cole's idea -- clearly, she meant nothing serious. Relaxing a bit, Lainey searched her mind for something similar.

"Well, it'd be cool if I could come up with a crazy prank -- something along the lines of the Weasley twins! Something legendary..." she mused aloud, smirking. "They didn't do it alone, though, I'd need some help."

Cole smiled as Lainey started to see things her way. She was a little bit mischievous for a Ravenclaw to be perfectly honest. In fact, the Sorting Hat did consider placing her on the Lion house. "Co-Captain, reporting for duty," she saluted Lainey.

"YES!" Lainey replied, pumping her fist in victory. "We should probably wait til after the cup, so it doesn't affect us...and then that gives us a whole year to plan it out to perfection. IT WILL BE THE BEST THING HOGWARTS HAS EVER SEEN!" she declared, laughing.

"Good idea," Cole agreed. They should wait until they get the Cup. "And best of all, they would never expect it from a pair of Ravenclaws." Cole smiled impishly.

Alex entered the Leaky cauldron, eager for butterbeer with the rest of his firends. He was mostly know for being the graduating Gryffindor Quidditch Captian, be was rather good and had been on the team since his 2 year.

"Come on Nighthook! We gotta get a practice match with the Puffs before the day is out" one of his firends yelled.

From the look of things he had just got done with a mock game with the other members in his house.

He walked by the table with the two Ravens, and noted one was the new Ravenclaw Captian, apart of the Harper family as far as he knew though he didn't know her all that well..

"Ah Harper congrats on the Captiancy" he said holding up is mug of butter beer.

Lainey looked up in surprise at the new arrival, scowling slightly when she saw it was the competition. There was no reason to be hostile right off the bat, though. It was the perfect opportunity to show that she wasn't still sulking over Ravenclaw's defeat last year...or pretend, anyway.

"Erm, yeah, thanks!" she managed awkwardly, raising her now-empty pint with a sheepish look before glancing over at Cole.

Because she wasn't spoken to, Cole remained quiet. She tried to keep her expression neutral. The Gryffindor Captain was a fine flier, a fine player, and a fine looking young gentleman. He had loads of admirers at school, Cole being one of them.
