Personality: 
Up until about a year ago, Kate was about as bubbly and happy a girl there could be. Lately she's been more prone to keep to herself, and much more timid. Her parents chalk it up to being a teenager and adjusting to life in England, but her parents are wrong; something that happened in her recent past has traumatised her and now she only really talks when Alex is around. She adores her big brother and tends to follow him around like a puppy. Slowly, she's learning to come back out of her shell.

The youngest child of Jarrod and Karri Nighthook, Kate has always been the baby. Since there's a five-year gap between her and her older brother, they've never had much by way of sibling rivalry going on; actually, she idolises Alex and will believe/listen to nearly anything he says. 
So when he was savagely attacked by a werewolf last year, and he begged her not to tell anyone, she kept her promise faithfully, doing her best to help heal his injuries. By some miracle, together they managed to patch him back up, his parents none the wiser for it. Alex insisted that they tell no one, for fear it would ruin their family's upstanding reputation, since bias against werewolves has been slow to decline even following a series of breakthroughs in the field of lycanthropy.
