Catch a Tiger by the Toe

Elizabeth Melborne walked into the Magical Menagerie with Purpose, she wanted another pet, her cat need company.. or at least that was the excuse she was going with. Really though she thought it be fun to just get another pet on a whim.

And so she walked past the owls, dogs, cats, and started looking at the more magical breeds of pets, she looked thoughtfull at all the birds and reptiles. It might be funny to get a lizard, concidering her name or Nickname by most. She could get a snake, might make her more popluar with the Slytherins perhaps, or a bird.. Oh but was so hard to decide..

"Hey Susan, got anything new in the back I could have a look at?" she mutter to the store clerk she was on a first name basis with. She was a regualer at the store for sometime.

"Erm, perhaps Lizzie, hasn't hatched yet though, we got a egg last week, could hatch anyday now. Bobby thinks it might be a Pheonix egg, but don't want to tell the news paper until it hatches to prove it.. But you know if yu buy it now, we can give whatever it is to the prophet" Susan said with a smirk.

Liz perked her head in interest a pheonix egg had not been found in ages, it could very well be a egals egg... but no matter.

"Hmm I will keep it in mind, here I will buy it now reguardless of what it is. I do like surprises. Let me know what it hatches I will come and see it, then wait till it is old enough. Not quit ready to look after a newborn just yet." she said handing a bag of gold to the Clerk.

"Alright Lizzie it is a deal" Susan say shook Liz's hand.

Liz then wandered arouind simply looking, as now she was bored, perhaps she would go out for coffee another shoping later. It was the weekend after all mt aswell enjoy it before she had to do her masters course work.
