Doctor's Orders Empty
PostSubject: Doctor's Orders   Doctor's Orders EmptyWed Nov 09, 2011 8:14 pm

Lycurgus scowled at the other inhabitants of the psychiatric ward's cafeteria. It had taken forever to get through the line, and when it was finally Lycurgus' turn the only type of food left was oatmeal. The wizard utterly hated oatmeal. Since it was the only thing to eat for several minutes and he hadn't wanted to wait, Lycurgus took it and used his 'good behavior' privileges to acquire a cup of coffee. The wizard seated himself at an empty table far from the other patients.

His dark green shirt and trousers were different than everyone else's. Lycurgus was honestly thankful for that, as the others' outfits were brighter and deliberately more cheerful. The word 'AZKABAN' was emblazoned on the back of his tunic, as well as his name and room number here at St. Mungo's. If that wasn't enough, Lycurgus was also restrained with magical chains: one string went around his waist like a belt and split off in separate strands which ended in cuffs around his wrists. The other series of chain connected his ankles, to hinder running. The chains would lengthen if his thoughts and intentions were nonviolent. Once his thinking shifted, however, the chain would magically shorten to restrain him.

Despite Lycurgus' fuming at the morning he was having, the chains allowed him to eat in peace. It had taken a while for the medical staff in control of the chains to learn just the right distribution of consequence and reward. Beady brown eyes watched as one of the nurses - Lycurgus' favorite, September-Rose Williams - strolled around the dining hall with a hovering cart. She was flanked by two muscularly-built wizards. Lycurgus didn't like many of the staff, but he made an exception when it came to September. Beautiful and young... what Lycurgus wouldn't give for her professional demeanor to slip just once! Unfortunately, 'good behavior' privileges did not extend quite that far.

His mouth went dry as Williams deliberately approached his table. There was no one nearby for several feet, so she was clearly looking for him. Lycurgus wasn't sure whether he wanted to send her away with the filthiest of scowls or try and make small talk with her. He wasn't exactly very proficient at making friends, let alone exchanging pleasantries.

"Good morning, Mr. Blake," Williams greeted him first, not overly chipper but not at all depressing in her demeanor. She earned a grunt from Lycurgus for her efforts. "Is it Lycurgus, or Seth, today?" The nurse placed a goblet of potion in front of him.

"It'd be a much better morning if we could forget the potion..." Lycurgus muttered bitterly.

"Doctor's orders, Mr. Blake. Now drink up! Dr. Addison wants to see you right after you've finished." The nurse tucked a note in Addison's handwriting near the bowl.

Lycurgus glared at Williams' insistence to take the potion. When she didn't leave him be after a few moments he deduced that they would not leave until he took the vile-tasting thing. Growling his frustration for all to hear, Lycurgus picked up the goblet, downed its contents, and slammed the drinking vessel back onto the table. Almost instantly the chains retracted until Lycurgus decided to calm down.

The wizard's protests were nothing new to her. "Thank you," Williams murmured, picking up the goblet and strolling away to her next patient.

Lycurgus glanced down at his half-eaten bowl of oatmeal. He made a disgusted face at it. Not only was oatmeal his most-loathed breakfast item, but the flavor was just as nasty as the loose, snot-like texture. Without a single thought of cleaning up after himself the wizard stood, took the note, and made his way for the exit.

* * *

Lycurgus Blake stood in front of the door to Darcy Addison's office. He was still chained, his hair naturally disheveled. On either side of him were wizards in white robes. They were armed with wand and sedative potions alike to use on Lycurgus if he got out of hand. One of the 'orderlies' knocked on the door and waited for a response.

Doctor's Orders Empty
PostSubject: Re: Doctor's Orders   Doctor's Orders EmptyThu Nov 17, 2011 4:24 am

Healer Darcy Addison was a master of controling another mind, get them to believe his way once her broke the natural of train mental defences. He broke them through pain his way of entering were simple but painful he could carve and modify different area;s of the brain, without exactly leaving a person brain damaged... Still perfectly capable.. just different.

He had much practice with the charm, converting many to his way of thinking, Purebloods were simply cleaner of mind... Those of lesser blood, it didn't matter how talented or how smart they were... They were dirty, like clean water compared to contaminated water...

One of those such people out side his sister and her family, was Lycugus Blake, a member of a former pure blood family.. Thanks to his mother, much of his work was done his mind already carved to a like able manner to his view. Only thing need was for people to believe the man was no long a threat and then set to Lord Corvus where true power to use the man lay.

He rose from his chair, opening the door, "Ah Lycurgus, I was expecting you" he nodded to the orderlies. "You may go I will call when he was ready" he said before turning to his "Patient".

"This will be our last Session Lycurgus, assuming this goes as well I am expecting" he muttered raising his wand wanting to one last look around the mans mind.. Make sure thing were perfect when he sent him to Corvus.

PostSubject: Re: Doctor's Orders   Doctor's Orders EmptySun Nov 27, 2011 3:22 pm

Lycurgus walked into the office as Darcy dismissed the orderlies. The chains at his ankles groaned as the metal dragged across the floor. He didn't bother looking for anything new in the office since his last session had not been that long ago. Lycurgus was curious as to why Darcy had called for this session. In time, the wizard knew, he would find out. He plopped into his usual seat and waited for the doctor to finish whatever loose ends of business that needed tending to.

Brown eyes blinked in surprise. Their last session? Lycurgus personally thought he'd never see that day. “I’ll do my best not to disappoint...” he smirked in response to this information, a little smug. Who wouldn’t have been in such a situation? The wizard had been practically sentenced to life here in the event he didn’t show ‘improvement’ with the help of the treatments offered. Perhaps if he played his cards just right...

Lycurgus had attempted to brace himself when he noticed Darcy had lifted his wand. He knew what was coming. However, Lycurgus wasn’t quite as prepared as he would have liked. A strangled shout was ripped from his lips as pain exploded in his head. The chains on his wrists and ankles pulled back to prevent him from flailing or lashing out. He fought the force trying to access memories of the recent past, but it was clear as Lycurgus relieved each moment that he was fighting a losing battle. A voice seemed to ask questions of him just prior to a memory’s access.

The wizard was barely aware of the little twitches and jerks his limbs gave as he tried to rebel against the mind invasion. After several moments of being locked in a duel of will, Lycurgus eventually gave in. The pain was finally adjusted to something a bit more pleasant for his masochistic mind. All Lycurgus had to do now was hold out until Darcy found what he wanted...

Darcy carved through Lycurgus's mind and saught a certain set of memories, those of his childhood, he had stumbled upon them in there first few sessions together, and had a unexpected visiter.. in the form of Seth Dolohov, a alter personality of Lycurgus's... much deadlier and ruthless.. More then Lycurgus himself which is saying something.

He wanted to ask Seth something as it occured him, sending Lycurgus to Corvus as a recrute might prove troublesome if Seth made a appearence at the wrong moment...

Darcy set to drag out the momories that triggered Seths appearance before, the ones with his mother... Plus he was working on his own project that was based on Seth.. He could give anyone a Alter he therorised, with the right... encouragment.

"Come Lycurgus.. you want to leave? you want to leave I need to see him" he said forcing is mind invsion even harder, to make it even more painful and pull Seth out...

Doctor's Orders Empty
PostSubject: Re: Doctor's Orders   Doctor's Orders EmptySat Feb 04, 2012 11:35 pm

Although Lycurgus permitted Darcy to view recent memories, the moment bits from his childhood started to crop up caused Lycurgus to squirm violently. They were terrible, painful, and humiliating memories that the wizard didn't want to remember. Eyes squeezed tight against the mind invasion, Lycurgus couldn't help the almost identical flashes of images between Zinoviya Dolohov Blake and Darcy Addison raising their wands at him. His mind flipped between both people so fast that it almost appeared as though aspects of one became imprinted on the other. Unfortunately the flickering sight of Darcy wearing his mother's clothes was anything but comical for Lycurgus.

Icy baths in the dead of winter...
Yelled at and punished for little to no reason...
Locked out of the house while out playing in the snow...
Denial of social interaction, food and bathroom usage...
Unanswered pleas for his father to intervene, as Lycurgus was hexed, cursed, and beaten by the woman he called mother. Abuses suffered regardless whether he did right or wrong...

The list went on...

"No!" Lycurgus snarled, trying to mentally shove Darcy out of these memories. He didn't want to think or talk about that particular era of his past. It was long since over and done, and Lycurgus had freed himself of the woman even though Zinoviya Blake still lived. If he ever got out of Saint Mungo's alive, Lycurgus had designs to make his mother's murder the most brutal, horrifying, gore-splattered one yet! Surely he would get bonus points from his father and baby brother for doing them such a grand favor, in addition to earning the satisfaction his own heart craved.

It felt like a spike was being driven through Lycurgus's head as Darcy pushed ever harder, forcing the memories of abuse to become ever clearer. The wizard barely heard the words spoken to him. So distant - as if in a dream. But it wasn't a dream: dreams didn't usually hurt this much. If this were a dream Lycurgus would've been able to move freely. However, his chains jingled their protest as the wizard attempted to kick and flail his way to freedom. They had long since taken his wand. He was helpless, not unlike how he'd been as a child.

Slowly Lycurgus opened his eyes to narrow, serpentine-esque slits. The light made his eyes hurt. "I want out! Stop it - I want out, damn you!" he growled, gritting his teeth against the agony exploding in his head. The lines between Darcy Addison and Zinoviya Blake blurred, then crossed. Lycurgus could hear the cold shout of 'Crucio' from his mother from a distant memory as if she was standing next to Darcy. Lycurgus bit his lip to prevent a scream of intolerable pain as it felt like Darcy and Zinoviya were both plying their respective spells mercilessly upon his restrained form. The pain crackled up and down his body like electricity searching for an outlet. After several more seconds, Lycurgus' world went black...

Lycurgus jerked awake, eyes snapping wide open and searching. He was clearly disoriented. Where was he? Memories still flew through his mind, but they were different. A small village seeming to have been perpetually covered in snow... children waving wands at each other in the streets, and the inside of a cruel orphanage dominated the forefront of the wizard's mind. To the outside viewer the images possessed a cloudy frame as though the memory had been tampered with. This was no longer Lycurgus Blake.

Frightened but hardened brown eyes finally settled upon Darcy Addison. A snarling countenance soon followed. "You!" Seth Dolohov let fly a few colorful Russian expletives as he strained against the chains, then attempted to spit in Darcy's face. "Touch me, hand or spell, and I svear to Merlin it vill be the last thing you do!" the wizard shouted, teeth bared not unlike a dog growling at an ominous intruder.

Darcy; despite the screaming agony the man has been in remained calm, as the hostile alternate took over Lycrugus. He nonchantantly wipped the spital off his face, since in the back of his head he conceaded her did deserve it.

He looked Seth up and down as if judging his threat, and quirked his eye brow, "Concidering your restraits, that is highly unlikely Seth" he said in a tone of voice that was hard to place. He flicked his wand though not at Seth, this time it was merely to enchant a quill to write down some notes, though kept his wand rasied to keep Seth's attention.

"It took a conciderable amount of effort to get me to meet you today, immpressive actually, the tollerance of..." he pasued a moment as if looking for the right word. "Punishment.. it takes before you come out" he said talking as if he thought Seth would find this interesting as well. He was pleased actually now he knew for sure Lord Corvus would not have a issue with Seth.. unless he wanted to meet him intentionally of course.

He then turned Seth with curiousity, he found alternate personalities fasinating and infact was planning to see if anyone could have a alternate personality formed, Which was why he wanted Seth to show himself for one last meeting.

"Just one question Seth, Why the name Dolohov? you mothers maiden name.. She is clearly a hated figure that prompted you into being to protect Lycurgus.." He then mused that may be why.. since it was she who made him come into being with her torture.. but still it would be interesting to hear his words if he had any to say that is...

Seth loudly growled as his threat was brushed off like little more than fairy dust. He wasn't taking in Darcy's tone, only that the man stood between him and what Lycurgus wanted: pain-free freedom. The wizard flinched violently when Darcy flicked his wand. No one was going to hurt him while he was defenseless if Seth had anything to say about it. Fiery brown eyes alight with the desire to kill or destroy trained themselves unwaveringly upon the only visible magical implement within the room. If only he could move and snatch it out of the hands of his adversary!

Seth scowled daggers of ice at Darcy. "You can thank his mother. She made him love most pains," he replied with a great amount of contempt, muttering still in Russian and referring to Zinoviya Blake as every vile and nasty thing under the sun. "It vosn't alvays this vay."

A disdainful scoff left Seth. He thinned his lips, tilted his head, and quirked an eyebrow. It was hard to tell just what the expression was trying to say between "why should I tell you" and an arrogant telling off to mind one's own business. The wizard, however, said nothing for several moments. "His mother,” Seth corrected, shaking his head. “Not mine. But Zinoviya is proud of her Russian ancestry. Lycurgus gave me that name to keep us safe. See how vell that vorked, eh?” The wizard once again gave an aggressive tug on the chains that bound him.

“Vot is it to you, anyvay?!” he snarled, shaking the hair out of his eyes with as much indignant dignity a chained and wandless wizard could muster. Seth still had at least one eye trained on Darcy’s wand, both wary and longing for some measure of power.
