Merlin stood in front of circle with runic inscriptions surronding the cirsumfrince. In the center was an odd looking rose. It was purple with a white stem. Merlin bent down and picked up the rose and smelled it. He sighed, it smelled of...dung. He tossed it to the side, where it sat with several other oddly colored roses. He reached into his robe pocket and took out a small black notebook. In parseltongue ge told it to open and the book unlocked and obeyed. Merlin reached for a nearby guill and wrote on a page with a list of ingredients and a diagram of the circle in front of him,
