Personality: Abandoned by his Mother and forgotten by his Father, it wouldn't be suprising or an understatement to say this wizard is not one to show emotions or give his trust easily. In fact, at times, coaxing a smile for him is as difficult as pulling out teeth. It isn't necessarily his intent to be icy, but merely a defense mechanism for Bren, for his earliest memories were of being tossed back and forth between family members, never truly being able to settle until much later in life. He was deprived of security and stability as a child, and thus never trusted it to linger when he became older.

Personality: If one were to summarize Viveke Bjorklund in a single word ‘passionate’ would be more than adequate. Viveke is not the sort to do anything half-heartedly, for her it is simply all or nothing, without any remnants in between. She adores her children with every ounce of her being, and she devotes herself entirely to her life’s calling of educating the youth. Her actions and life are built on her pleasure and preferences, as seen by her chosen field of work in Magical Education centered on Potions and Transfiguration, two of her passions which, along with her ambition, allowed her to excel in and create a career from within Durmstrang.

Likewise, her personal life demonstrates the same tendency towards pleasure and preference. Her thirst for passion has produced many affairs and romances for the witch, all of which she has indulged in, not necessarily out of an insatiable lust, but rather a hunger for the emotion every different romance brings her. Likewise, the same reasons also apply to why she has been unlucky in marriage and opted for two divorces: marriage, she has discovered through two separate unions, have served her as more than cages that entrapped her, preventing her from fulfilling her passion and needs, hence why she now prefers the smaller, more casual romances, although she is always open-minded to any new potentials and possibilities.

Hand in hand with this passion and ambition comes the darker side: an unyielding aspect of Viveke’s nature. Although her trust and loyalty, once claimed, is typically eternal, that certainly is not always the case and it is not uncommon for this witch to go towards the route that benefits her most, regardless of the costs necessary, whether it be broken hearts or shattered friendships. Although her emotions are wild and revealing, her words are not and are typically spoken in slow, calm collectiveness in her attempt to push the pendulum in her favor.

Personality: Despite being raised with both Eastern and Western Europe on account of his parents, much of Hail’s personality is influenced and born from that of his Mother. He tends to follow and live by Scandinavian and Slavic values, such as opting for silence more often than words, preferring to show rather than to tell, and, of course, a strong adoration for vodka. This tendency towards his Mother’s heritage and genes can be seen by the very fact that Hail’s accent is much stronger than that of his sister. While Netta’s accent is only a light cadence with only a few words in English splashed with Eastern vowel sounds, Hail’s English is heavy with the Eastern influence. Often, his ‘w’ bears a sound akin to a ‘v’, and his English conversations are inserted with a plethora of other languages including, though not limited to, German, Swedish, and Russian.

The young wizard tends to prefer solitude most of the time, opting for silence, as it allows him, in his opinion, to have a greater sense of creative freedom with no distractions. Words tend to come with difficulty to him, and he struggles to find the words to express his thoughts and opinions, and not merely because of language gaps, so he prefers to show his thoughts by other means, particularly art and music. In art and music, Hail has learned, no words are ever necessary. All it takes is a willing eye and open mind to see what lies beneath.

However, despite this solitary side to Hail, there is a social side to him, particularly if he is surrounded by ones he trusts and values as friends, particularly if vodka is involved. While he does keep a guard, of sorts, up at times, the right people and the right drink can bring a smile on his face, and unleash the party animal within.
