| The crowded hallway seemed to part as Lysander passed, head and shoulders taller than most of the other students around him. The bell had rung for the last class of the day, which for him was Divination. Finding it to be a bullshit class, he often skipped and so could be found heading in the opposite direction of the Divinations classroom, towards the fourth floor boys room. There were two reasons for this -- one, it tended to be empty at this time every day, as there weren't any classes held on the fourth floor at this hour. Two, he knew Jaina Alonso took a shortcut to her last period class in the same direction, and so he could usually count on getting a glimpse of the stunning brunette on her way to class.
The warning bell tolled, and the crowd around him thinned out even further as everyone scattered. Tossing one last glance over his shoulder, he opened the door to the bathroom, disappointed that he hadn't managed to see Jaina. That was alright -- there was always dinner, later. Throwing his bag on the floor, Lysander scrounged in his pockets for a moment, producing a pack of cigarettes and his wand. He shoved the cigarette in his mouth, tucked his wand over one ear and, no longer having any use for his school-approved uniform, shucked off his cloak and robes and chucked them into a pile with his bag. This done, he loosened his tie and rolled up his sleeves before finally retrieving his wand from where it perched on his ear, and used it to light the cigarette.
The habit was one he'd picked up from the movies -- something he thought looked dashing and attractive. It also gave him something to do while he waited to see if Jericho was going to skive off as well. After about twenty minutes, the coast would be clear for them to skulk off wherever they liked until school was over. As Lysander was rather hungry, having skipped lunch, he rather hoped they'd pop down to the kitchens and have a little visit with the house-elves.

| "Jaina, we're going to be late!" Jacen emphasized, striding a few steps in front of his sister. His sister on the other hand seemed to have other plans other than going to class on time and seemed to take as slow of a time as possible.
"So what? It's friday, it's not like they'll teach anything new." Jaina pointed out whilst looking at the landscape of the grounds from the tall glass windows. It was so sunny outside. Really peculiar for english weather, but a blessing none-the-less. The skies were so blue, and so clear she just wanted to go out to the Pitch and fly.
"What if they do?" Jacen countered.
"Then we'll get notes from Capulet or something. It's not a problem really, we're only in fourth year. O.W.L.s are next year." Jaina explained.
Jacen sighed in defeat. He knew the expression on her eyes well. He didn't have to be his twin to know what she was thinking. She wanted to skip class. Again.
"Fine, but you're not dragging me with you. I've got enough detentions thanks."
"You only get detention if you get caught."
Jacen rolled his eyes.
"Stop being a prude Jace, well just wait it out in the toliet until the coast is clear."
"No, I think we should..."
But Jaina was already pushing herself through the toilet door.
"Go to class." Jacen finished as the door slammed onto his face. He found himself staring at the symbol for a boy and wondered briefly if he should tell her she went to the wrong one. But then again, knowing her, that was probably her intention.
Jacen sighed yet again. "Laters." He said to no one in particular and headed straight to class.

| "About time you showed up," Lysander called out, not bothering to look up as he heard the door open and close. He'd decided to preoccupy himself by blowing smoke into increasingly complex, elaborate shapes, having started off with simple smoke rings. By the time Jaina appeared, he'd managed to get a pretty impressive miniature dragon out, and it was due to the rather large cloud of smoke that he didn't immediately realise who had walked in on him.
"Who was that in the hall?" he asked, having heard Jacen's voice, unable to quite place the speaker except to recognise that it sounded vaguely familiar. "Honestly, who goes to Divination on a Friday? Especially one as nice as this. I was thinking we could go by the Lake, maybe. I wanna grab some food from the kitchens first though -- I'm starved."
Lysander snuffed out the last little bit of cigarette and turned around, picking up the mess he'd made on the floor. He attempted to stuff his robes and cloak roughly into his bag, but they didn't quite fit, so he took a moment to fiddle with his wand and make more room for the food they'd be sneaking out onto the grounds. It was only after slinging his bag over his shoulder that he turned around and saw, through the misty remains of his smoke dragon, that Jaina and not Jericho stood before him. Confusion, panic, and pleasure took their course across his face in quick succession before he could compose himself. His voice, when he spoke again, was tolerably calm and collected, although a blush still lingered on his cheeks.
"You do realise this is the boys loo, don't you?"

| Jaina watched the occupant of the toilet with amusement. Upon entering, and noticing that the occupant was indeed a boy, Jaina's first instinct had been to tell him off for being in the girl's loo. However, she quickly noticed the urinals and concluded that she was the one in fact who was in the boys' room. She had on a smile as she observed him smoking. She knew smoking was bad and everything but he made it look so good. The boy was fit, that was for sure.
As he started talking, she kept uncharacteristically quiet. It was obvious in the way that he was speaking he had assumed she was someone else. She wondered how long it would take him to notice she was not who-ever he thought she was. She didn't have to wait long.
Now face to face with him, she recognised him. Blake - a Slytherin, one of MacDougal's friends if she wasn't mistaken. It was hard not to notice him with his tall stature but she had to admit she hadn't given him a second thought.
She ignored his question as she headed for the mirror. She started combing her hair with her fingers. "It's Blake right?" She asked as she glanced at him from the mirror.

| The question caught him off guard. She was acting so nonchalant about suddenly appearing in the boys room for no apparent reason that he thought she'd meant to on purpose. What for, he had no idea -- certainly she had no intention of going to class. Lysander decided to follow her lead and answered her question with the same amount of indifference with which Jaina has asked it.
"Sometimes," he shrugged, "but mostly just my mates call me that. Everyone else usually just calls me by my first name -- that's Lysander, in case you somehow managed to miss it -- or 'sir' does just as well. Take your pick," he smirked, the challenge in his tone evident. As it appeared that they wouldn't be leaving terribly soon, Lysander lit up another cigarette just to have something to do with his hands. Chain-smoking would probably make him feel rather ill but it beat having Jaina notice him staring at her through the mirror while she rearranged her dark, shiny hair.
"And besides cutting class in the boys room, you are?..." he asked, focusing on producing an impressive French inhale rather than looking up at Jaina. Pretending not to know who she was seemed to be the best option available, since she didn't appear to know much about him. It stung, but as they were in different Houses and different years, it wasn't all that surprising.

| She detected the challenge in his voice and had to inwardly smile. "Lysander..." She rolled the name off her tongue as if tasting something new. "Lysander..." She repeated as if she took a second taste not quite sure whether or not she liked it or not. "I'm never going to remember that. What sort of a name is it?"
Satisfied with the state of her hair, she turned. A quick jump and push on her part, she sat atop the sink. She was facing him for real, her eyes sparkling with several ideas forming in her head as she observed the boy in front of her. Now which one to choose...
She leaned forward, folded one arm across her chest, and used it to prop the other one up so she could use it as a head rest. "Looking to have some fun." She grinned. "But people insist on call me 'Jaina'."

| "Nominally? Greek. But my father picked it out of a famous Shakespeare play," Lysander shrugged, wondering if Jaina even knew who Shakespeare was. Some magical folk didn't hold with anything to do with the Muggles world -- like his mother, for instance, who never knew the true origin of his name. By the time his parents had him, she hadn't cared so much anymore what he was named, anyway -- he'd been born ten years after his next closest sibling.
And speaking of siblings, Jaina had a brother as well -- he knew from watching the quidditch games, which is where she'd caught his eye in the first place. They both played for Ravenclaw and were quite a talented pair of Chasers, actually. Seamless. He wondered if that was who he'd heard when Jaina walked into the loo; from the sound of it, Jacen hadn't approved of her skiving off. The realisation made him smirk -- a Ravenclaw skiving off of class. Maybe he had more in common with her than he'd previously realised, if her little comment of looking for fun was any indication.
"A woman after my own heart then, Jaina," Lysander replied wryly, taking another drag from his cigarette and leaning rather cockily against the wall. "Well, as it seems that the person I was waiting for has neglected to show, and you're looking for a bit of fun -- how about we head on down to the kitchens together? Coast should be clear by now. We could head off onto the grounds afterwards -- that is, if you're not worried about getting caught? Ms. Looking-For-Fun?"

| Jaina jumped down from the sink, landing on her feet. She neared him. "Shakespearean huh?" Jaina asked. She was actually rather fond of Shakespeare. Unlike some sexist Muggle authors, Shakespeare managed to incorporate strong women in his works. She loved the Merchant of Venice and Much Ado About Nothing. "Why didn't they just name you William? It's harder to forget."
She stopped only when she was a few feet away from him. She ignored his question - well for the moment anyway. His proposal actually sounded pretty good. But she asked him a question of her own. "So, Will, can I try some of that?" She nodded at his lips and kept her eyes there. Whether she was referring to his actual lips or the fag that his lips were current around was ambiguous. And she completely intended it. He was very attractive. Very attractive indeed. And she wouldn't mind if she got one or the other.

| Lysander had to laugh at the comment -- she was definitely joking him, now. His was not exactly a common name, hardly easy to forget as such a one as William, fond as he might be of the name. The fact was that William Blake was the name of a fairly famous Muggle poet and artist, and as someone who was artistically inclined himself, he wouldn't have minded sharing the name. None of this was anything he was about to share with Jaina at the moment, however, as she was clearly in a teasing kind of mood, and Lysander was in no place to deny any fellow fan of The Bard a reasonable request.
"I'd have to disagree -- a more common name is much more easily forgotten than an uncommon one. Not that William's a bad name," he shrugged, suddenly becoming hyper aware of how close they were now standing. It made her comment about wanting to try some of "that" all the more ambiguous, because he couldn't tell whether she was referring to his cigarette or the lips clenched around it. Obviously, Lysander sincerely hoped it was the latter. He pulled the fag away from his lips and blew the smoke upwards, so as to avoid exhaling rudely into her face, and then smirked an invitation.
"But of course -- sharing is caring. If you want it, come get it."

| My, oh my, oh my. The boy looked good and she was confident he knew it too. Why else would he put on his little show for her? The smoke made everything all the more exciting. As the pearly grey mist danced around their perimeter, Jaina couldn't help but be all the more reckless in her actions.
She, herself, smirked at the invitation. So, he wanted to play did he? Time for some fun.
She leaned towards him. Standing on tip-toe, adjusting to his height. She inched her face closer and closer to his, not quickly, but taking her time. She was close enough to smell the cigarette, a usually rancid smell, did wondrous things when mixed with his own particular smell. She had to carefully control herself. She actually wanted to kiss him. She could kiss him. And as his body language was suggesting, he would let her - she suspected he wanted her to. That fact made her determine on her next course of action. As her lips and his was quickly losing distance against each her, she took the fag out of his fingers and into her mouth.

| For one long, heart-pounding moment, Lysander really thought that Jaina was going to kiss him. And then she didn't at the last moment, and he felt horribly disappointed for a second before he realised he was glad she hadn't. It wasn't that he didn't want to kiss her -- the way his mouth had instantly gone dry suggested that he did, badly -- but it was that she shouldn't have to make the first move. That was for him to do.
So he waited patiently for her to be done with the fag, licking his lips while staring openly at hers, a suggestive smile firmly in place. "I should have probably mentioned first. those aren't easy to come by....that's gonna cost you."

| Jaina closed her eyes as she inhaled the smoke and breathed it out again. She tried to imagined, as she inhaled, what it would be like to kiss him. She wasn't exactly master at smoking, she certainly couldn't pull off the tricks he had been doing earlier, though, it was obvious it hadn't been her first time.
She opened her eyes. "Really?" His tone suggested she wouldn't have to use her imagination for long. Unconsciously, she licked her lips. "And what would the cost be?" She inhaled again and twisted her head to the side slightly as she breathed it out.

| Jaina might as well have asked him to kiss her. At least, that's what Lysander told himself as he watched her lick her lips and exhale the smoke slowly. It reminded him of a line from Shakespeare, actually -- and as she seemed to dig the Bard, it gave him an idea. Gently, he reached out and stroked her cheek, turning her to face him again.
"You know exactly what I mean. But as a very wise man once wrote -- 'tis one thing to be tempted, another thing to fall." And by the time he finished speaking, he had closed the distance between them, so that the last word fell directly from his lips to hers.

| His touch was electrifying. She could feel her cheeks burning, not unpleasantly where he had traced her face. Jaina unconsciously closed her eyes as he touched his lips with hers. She kept still, and let him kiss her. She felt her heart beating inside her chest. His words rang about in her ears bouncing inside her head - he was quoting Shakespeare she thought vaguely. The boy knew how to play.
He was being a gentlemen about it. It was very gentle, very nice - but she wanted more. She waited until he pulled away before saying, "And what would I have to pay for a full box?" She asked slyly.

| Lysander's eyebrows shot up in surprise; quite frankly he was just pleased that she hadn't shoved him away, but that Jaina was so very receptive to him was more than he'd dared hope for from a girl who'd pretended not to know his name. It was hardly his first kiss, but he'd never met a more beguiling witch in his life. Somewhere in the back of his head warning bells were going off -- this girl was Trouble, with a capital T -- but he ignored them. If she wanted more, he would be the last to disappoint her.
"A full box?" he asked, producing one from his pocket, minus two fags. "Well, you can surely appreciate how difficult it is to get these, being underage and all...but if you really want them, I'd say we probably had better head someplace more private." Something told Lysander that she didn't really want the cigarettes -- that they were just an excuse. He wondered how far she would carry the little ruse, and was quite eager to find out. The thought made his blood run fast and hot, and impulsively he pulled Jaina closer, his earlier hesitation gone as he crushed her lips under his.

| With that her head spun with delight as he re-instated their kiss but this time with more gusto. She could taste the nicotine on his lips but underneath that something sweeter - intoxicating. He was an excellent kisser, she had to say. She didn't exactly have a large sample to compare it to - but he was by far the best. She ran her fingers through the blond locks - they were soft and wonderful to touch. She let herself enjoy the moment slightly longer before she pulled away. Half of her didn't actually want to, but half of her, the half that won out wanted to push things a little.
She was out of breath but she hid this behind challenging smirk. "I've changed my mind. Smoking is bad for you."

| Lysander could've growled in frustration when Jaina pulled away, a teasing smirk on her face. The very image of the devil, she was, but two could play that game. She'd asked for it, after all, and there was no disappointing the girl. He shrugged and plucked the half-smoked cigarette out of her hand -- fortunately it had gone out or they'd have literally set the room on fire.
"Yeah, you're right," he agreed, re-lighting it and taking a nice long drag to emphasise his words. "Smoking is bad for you, and I'm even worse, so you should probably run along, now, little girl," he told her, breathing out smoke and doing his best imitation of a cheshire cat.
"Wouldn't want to get caught out of bounds, misbehaving with a naughty Slytherin with a nasty habit of getting into trouble, would you?" That was stretching the truth slightly but she had no way of knowing that. Lysander certainly did run with a trouble-making crowd, anyway.

| "Oh no." Jaina smiled. She caught on what he was doing - at least she hoped. She didn't imagine the flash of frustration in his eyes when she pulled away right? In any case, it was nice while it lasted. "We couldn't have that. An innocent Ravenclaw like me corrupted by a dangerous Slytherin - that would be gastly!"
It was a bit over-dramatic and a lot mocking.
"Anyway, I'm going to go run along and read now and do whatever it is us Ravenclaws do and leave you Slytherins to your bad habits." She turned her back to him then and went to leave the toilet, but not before blowing him a kiss. Once the door was shut and she was safely outside the door, she pulled out his cigarette packet which she had managed to steal from him has they had been kissing and put it safely in her inner robe pocket. She then made her way to the Pitch for some fresh air.

| Nothing could've wiped the smirk off Lysander's face quicker. He rolled his eyes at her antics and scoffed, blowing smoke in her direction rather rudely before she disappeared behind the door.
"Stupid girl," he muttered to himself, walking to the mirror where Jaina had done her hair and examining himself. His face was still flushed from their recent activities, and he despised himself for such weakness. Trouble, that's what she was -- he'd certainly called it right. When he was done with his cigarette, he flushed it down the sink, washing his hands to get rid of the nicotine smell, and splashing his face for good measure. He was halfway down to the kitchens before he realised his cigarettes had gone missing.
The oaths that he muttered were not very polite as he realised he had no way of knowing where she'd gone or where he might find her. If she was back in Ravenclaw Tower already, he could be stuck waiting all night in the hopes that she'd pass through. And then he passed a large window and caught a glimpse of the brilliantly blue sky outside, and in an instant realised exactly where she'd have gone.
Altogether it hadn't been longer than a half hour before he arrived, panting and red-faced, at the quidditch pitch. Looking around the stadium, he couldn't spot Jaina, and wondered if maybe she'd simply gone flying somewhere else. There was no way he was just going to give up that easily, though.
"OY! JAINA ALONSO!" he bellowed, his voice echoing back at him from the large empty space.

| Jaina was accelerating faster and faster trying to match her heart rate. Be still my heart, she thought smiling inwardly. The sky was so beautiful that she opted to fly upwards as high as she dared instead of sticking to the perameters of the pitch. She had been at it for a good twenty minutes before she had heard someone scream her name. She let out a small laugh as she looked down and saw a small figure with blond hair.
She headed downwards, fast, really pushing her broom's limit and she pulled over just atop of him. There she stayed hovering, enjoying the height she had over him. She flashed him her most innocent smile. "Yes Will?"

| He'd just been about to clear off when out of the corner of his eye, he spotted something flying towards him. Lysander barely had time to register the fact that it was indeed a witch on a broom before Jaina screeched to a halt right above him, smiling innocently. He opened his mouth to tell her off when her salutation caught him off guard.
"W-what?" he asked, frowning in confusion. "Oh come off it, you know what my name is," Lysander scowled, reaching up and putting a hand on her broom so she couldn't fly out of his reach. The smooth handle of the broom made him shudder slightly, but he doubted Jaina noticed or cared. "You know what I want, too. Hand them over!"

| Jaina leaned forward and languishly laid on her broom. She propped one arm up on the broom and used it as a head rest. With the free hand, she started tracing circles around Lysander's hand. Quickly she decided how to play. There was two viable options. She could play it cool and simply pretend not to know what he was talking about or she could turn the tables on him.
"What was it again? Romeo? Demetrius? Hamlet?" Jaina wondered aloud. "Well I'm going to stick with Will until it comes back to me."
She smiled at him then, mischievously. Jaina produced the box from her pocket. She looked straight into his blue eyes. "It's a full box -You can surely appreciate how difficult it is to get these, being underage and all. You wouldn't imagine what I had to do to get these. But if you really want them - it's going to cost you." She straightened up so that she was further from him. Unlike him, a kiss wasn't her asking price.

| "Oh very funny, Lady MacBeth," Lysander scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Or is it Puck? You certainly seem amused enough by your own antics."
He was hardly surprised when she dangled the box in front of his face -- he should have known better when he kissed her that it might be no strings attached. When she mocked him with his own words, Lysander just grit his teeth and stared her down.
"Just give me my fucking cigarettes, Alonso."

| Jaina's eyes widened a little as he snapped at her. She smile faded and in it's place came a frown. She threw the box squarely at his chest.
"You're not very fun." She readjusted her position to a proper mount, ready to fly off. "Now if you kindly let go of my broom, I'll be out of your hair in no time."

| Lysander grinned triumphantly for a moment, catching the box against his chest with one hand. It didn't last long though; the disapproving look on her face rather spoiled the fun of having gotten his way so easily. He suddenly felt very ashamed of himself for losing his temper and swearing at her, and his face burned.
"No, wait!-- I'm sorry. That was rude of me, you were only playing around. Let me make it up to you." For lack of any other idea what to do, he handed the box back up towards her, a peace offering, even though it was fairly clear at this point that neither of them really cared about them. He hung onto the broom, determinedly ignoring his own discomfort in the hopes that she wouldn't try to take of with him still holding on.
"Please," he begged for good measure, his blue eyes radiating absolute sincerity. "What'll it cost me?"
