Personality: Despite being a fullblooded Vampire amidst a clan believing in pureblood ideals and lifestyle, Alaric is definiteley one of the more mellow of the bunch. It takes alot to truly annoy him, much less anger him and he gets along quite well with anyone, easily making friends and conversation. He tends to be on the chatty side, taking a bit more than he should, sometimes to the point where his companions would possibly like to cast a silencing charm on him.He is also quite mischevious, loving pranks and schemes, especially when it comes to his sister's potential suitors and boyfriends. Part of the reason for this is the entertainment pranks brings him but the larger and more important reason is for the sake of his sisters who Alaric is extremely protective of and, like any of his family members, would do anything for.

For all of these virtues, however, there are certainly vices, especially where pleasure is concerned. Despite his parent's myriad of attempts to drill in "Buisiness before pleasure" into his head, the lesson hasn't been so successfully absorbed as Alaric tends to be a fellow who does as his fancies teach him to be. There have been many a time when someone has asked him to run an errand that would typically take minutes end up taking Alaric hours due to distraction from a candy store or, in his later years, a cute witch he spotted in the street. Thus, punctuality is also not one of Alaric's stronger suits and his sense of time is known to his family and friends as "Alaric Time", roughly three hours behind the typical time zone. Part of this indulgent side of Alaric is could be due to his upbringing, considering his Mother had babied him and his Father had been less stern with him than he had been with Alaric's siblings. Alaric, however, explains this rapid diversion in attention to the simple fact that "I know what I like.".

Overall though, despite his background and indulgent nature Alaric is simply a wizard enjoying his youth to the fullest, living young, wild, and free.



Your Story Please? Alaric came to be through an intricate blend of fate and careful planning. Shortly after her marriage to Vinzent Zolnerowich, Liesel paid a visit Theresa Gordon, a seer noted for her talent and wholly accurate predictions. It was through this reading that Liesel learned of the son she and Vinzent would have and as a result she began making the necessary preparations. Knowing that Vinzent held Vampiric blood that would possibly pass unto their child, Liesel quickly saw the advantages if the traits were doubled, especially the aid it would give to their cause, and began to plan accordingly.

When Vinzent had arrived home later that evening they had carried on with their normal evening activities, though this time Liesel made her request. "Bite Me..." she had whispered to her husband's ear. He had halted his actions and inquired as to why. Not wanting to reveal her visit or what she had learned during her reading she had brushed off his question, instead insisting that she wanted to be just like him, regardless of the risks and costs. Eventually, though after ensuring multiple time that she was certain Vinzent obliged his wife's request and bit her, turning her into a vampire as well. The night carried onward as was usual for the couple and nine months later Alaric was born, displaying his fangs proudly to the world.
